Supplies for making orgonites
To get started making orgonite yourself, you will need the following items:
- High quality epoxy such as Ultra Epoxy Casting Resin
- Copper spirals
- Gemstone of your choice
- Rock crystal obelisk
- Silicone mold pyramid
- Possibly mixing cup and stirring spatula
We recommend using a mold so you can make beautiful shapes like pyramids or spheres. Also choose a gemstone and crystal that appeals to you. Every stone has different properties.
Step-by-step plan for making orgonite from casting resin or epoxy
Once you have gathered all the supplies, here's what you can do:
1. Prepare the resin or epoxy
Pour the resin or epoxy and hardener according to the ratio on the package into a mixing cup and stir well. Let any air bubbles escape.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and pour into the mold
Now add the copper spirals and chosen gemstones or crystals into the resin or epoxy and stir well again. Make sure all materials are well distributed in the casting resin or epoxy mass.
Now carefully pour the mixture of resin, metals and stones into the mold you have prepared. Tap the mold gently on the countertop for example to let air bubbles escape.
3. Allow the resin or epoxy to cure
Then let the orgonite harden for 24 hours. Then you can carefully remove the homemade product from the mold. You can remove any small irregularities with sandpaper and polish. This will give you beautiful shiny orgonite jewelry and objects to place at home. Your orgonite is now ready!
