The silicone mold is ideal in use. After pouring and curing, the epoxy is easy to remove from the silicone mold. Our high quality molds are also easy to clean with a mild soap solution and lukewarm water.

The oval silicone mold can be used multiple times and is ideal for making coasters or jewelry trays for storing your rings. Why use silicone molds?
Once epoxy resin has hardened, you can remove it very easily from a silicone mold. If the mold is made of another material, you can damage your artwork when removing the epoxy or other materials.
Choose a shape that fits the wishes of your artwork. Are you making oval coasters? Then we obviously do not recommend round bowls. So take your own wishes into account.
How many grams of epoxy do you need?
The quickest way to determine how much epoxy you need for your mold, regardless of shape, is to weigh it. For smaller projects, like an epoxy oval tray, this is very easy.
Start by weighing the empty mold. Then fill the mold with water and weigh again. The difference in weight is the content of the mold. For example, the silicone mold oval container holds 100 grams of water.
Because 1 liter of epoxy weighs 1.1 kg, you multiply the weighted difference by 1.1. This way you know exactly how much epoxy you need for your project. The silicone mold oval tray therefore holds 110 grams of epoxy.
