    Silicone Mold Standard

      Description

      Silicone mold standard in 4 shapes to make a stand for e.g. books or a beautiful dried flower bouquet.

      Dimensions
       square: 17 x 17 cm, 5 cm deep
      heart: 20 x 17 cm and 5 cm deep
      6-corner: 20.5 cm diameter and 5 cm deep
      round mould: 20 cm diameter and 5 cm deep

      Contents of molds:       approximately 1400-1600 grams
      Suitable for: epoxy, plaster, jesmonite

      Made of stronger, high quality silicone material. The mold is therefore often reusable. The mold is not suitable for the oven or dishwasher.

      Method of pouring flowers in epoxy

      First pour a layer of soil so that your object or flower does not sink to the bottom. Pop the bubbles with a heat tool and let this layer harden according to the instructions for use of the epoxy resin.
      Add the object and make sure it is stable and pour the next layer of epoxy resin. Are you going to pour flowers? Then make sure that they are bone dry. Allow this layer to harden again before completely filling the mold.
      By pouring it in layers, you have the chance to pop all the bubbles and your end result will be more beautiful. It is best to cast these molds in at least 5 layers.

      Suitable epoxy for large castings

      The use of suitable epoxy is important for the end result of your Resin Art art. We recommend using UltraEpoxy for these types of molds. This epoxy is very easy to use and suitable for larger molds (also small molds) and even tables.
      The epoxy cures at medium speed so that you can pour thick layers of epoxy up to 3 cm thick in one go. In addition, the UltraEpoxy is vandal-proof. This means that it almost always cures beautifully clear. This epoxy is also very UV-resistant, crystal clear and easy to deaerate due to its low viscosity (liquidity). We also recommend this epoxy for casting large tables such as tree trunk tables and river tables.
