    Making a tea light holder

Making a tealight holder or tealight holder to your taste is not difficult at all. With the use of a silicone mold and filler material such as epoxy, plaster, or jesmonite, the possibilities are enormous. You can also do the colors of this DIY project completely to your own liking.

These tea light holders are made entirely by yourself and provide an extra beautiful light effect. For extra coziness in your home or on the terrace.

Please note: are you going to fill the mold with epoxy? Epoxy is not heat resistant, even though some brands claim it is. Therefore, always place an electric tea light in an epoxy tea light holder. Just as beautiful and completely safe!

    Need epoxy?

The use of suitable epoxy is important for the end result of your Resin Art art. We advise to use Epoxy casting resin 1:1 or UltraEpoxy for this type of molds. These epoxy resins are very easy to use and suitable for larger surfaces.

Make your Resin Art unique with color

With special colour pigments you can give your Resin Art a unique twist. Achieve a full opaque colour with shimmer, go for transparent pigment or pigment paste. Quickly view all colour pigments especially for Resin Art.
