LED lamp for UV Resin - 6 watt (2024)

    Description

LED lamp specially developed for the rapid curing of UV Resin.

Extensively tested and upgraded 2024 model. Suitable for fast curing of UV Resin . Not suitable for 2-component epoxy casting resin. Small silicone molds can be cast in one go. However, we recommend casting UV Resin in thin layers of maximum 1-5 millimeters. This way the resin dries better and the end result is more beautiful. By working in layers it is also possible to build up a workpiece in layers, 3d. This creates depth in the artwork.

When using UV Resin , A few minutes of light from this lamp is enough to harden a layer.

    1. Place the artwork with UV Resin directly under the lamp.
    2. The lamp shines for 30 seconds and then switches off. This is enough for a thin layer of resin. Have you filled a large silicone mold or applied the UV Resin to a large surface? Then expose at least 3-4 times for 30 seconds.
    3. Turn the silicone mold over and let the bottom harden 3-4 times as well.
    4. Use a skewer to check if the epoxy resin is hard. Never do this with your finger. You don't want fingerprints on your artwork.
    5. Is the UV Resin still sticky? Let your artwork harden for a few more minutes on each side.
