How do you use epoxy pigment paste?

Epoxy pigment paste is, just like our other pigments for epoxy, easy to use.

    • When working with epoxy resin, the time factor is of great importance, because the resin can harden very quickly during processing. Therefore, you should have all the necessary materials at hand at the workplace.
    • Protect your workplace from possible splashes, for example with plastic tarpaulins.
    • Protecting your health is the highest priority. Always wear nitrile gloves when working with epoxy resin.
    • If you are using our UV Resin , you can immediately add the pigment colours. Are you using an epoxy casting resin? First mix the resin and hardener thoroughly in the mixing ratio recommended by the manufacturer. Once you have carefully mixed the two components together, it is time to add the colour.
    • Add pigments to the mixture as desired and mix well. Repeat this process until you have achieved the desired color shade.
    • The basic principle is: in order not to negatively affect the mixing ratio and thus influence the curing, the paint share should not exceed 5%.
