    Working with the Epoxy Casting Resin 1:1

    Working with this epoxy resin is the easiest, because you work with a 1:1 mixing ratio:

    1. Epoxy consists of 2 components: the resin (a) and a hardener (b).
    2. Weigh out how much you need. For example, weigh 10 grams of resin and 10 grams of hardener and add them together in one (silicone) mixing cup to 20 grams of epoxy in total. Add color pigment for epoxy resin if necessary .
    3. Make sure you mix the resin and hardener very well for 3 minutes; scrape the bottom and sides.
    4 . Never add too much hardener to the resin. With epoxy it is important to keep the mixing ratio right! Otherwise there is a chance that the epoxy will remain soft or sticky. Cured epoxy is safe for both humans and animals.
