Silicone Mold Cylinder

    Description

Silicone mold for making a cylinder.

The mold consists of 1 part that you can cast in layers or in one go. So you make a cylindrical work of art with a flat bottom, so that it can stand stable when it is finished. For example, you can make a cool night light from this or use flowers in it.
There is a large hole at the top of the mold into which you can pour the filler.

Made of flexible silicone, so it is easy to use and can be reused multiple times. Cannot be put in the oven or dishwasher.

    Mold dimensions: 12 x 6.5 cm
    Mold contents: unknown
Suitable for: epoxy, plaster, jesmonite and candles

    Method:

    1. Measure where your decorations and creation will fit in the cylinder appear before you start pouring.
    2. Make a layer in the bottom of the mold (this will soon be the top) with epoxy (choose the most UV-resistant resin if you are going to make a transparent casting such as the UltraEpoxy ).
    3. Add decorations and move them into place with a tweezers . You can center something in the middle by placing a skewer on top of the ball and attaching something to it that then hangs in the resin. Keep in mind that whatever you place in the mold will come out the other way around.
    4. After 48 hours, remove your creation from the mold by carefully wringing the mold loose for 30-60 seconds and rubbing it between your hands. If necessary, use soap and water to wring the mold loose. You then squeeze the egg out of the mold. Do not pull the mold loose if it is stuck: you will destroy it.

    Need epoxy?

The use of suitable epoxy is important for the end result of your Resin Art art. We recommend using Epoxy casting resin 1:1 or UltraEpoxy for these types of molds. These epoxy resins are very easy to use and suitable for larger surfaces.
