How do you use epoxy pigment paste?

Epoxy pigment paste, like our other pigments for epoxy, is easy to use.

    • When working with epoxy resin, the time factor is very important, because the resin can harden very quickly during processing. That is why you must have all the necessary materials at hand at the workplace.
    • Protect your workplace against possible splashes, for example with plastic tarpaulins.
    • Protecting your health has the highest priority. Always wear nitrile gloves when working with epoxy resin.
    • If you use our UV Resin , you can immediately add the pigment colors to it. Do you use an epoxy casting resin? Then first mix the resin and hardener thoroughly in the mixing ratio recommended by the manufacturer. Once you have carefully mixed the two components together, it is time to add the color.
    • Add pigments as desired to the mixture and mix everything well. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired color shade.
    • The basic principle is: in order not to negatively influence the mixing ratio and thus influence curing, the proportion of paint should not exceed 5%.
